Currently, our wicket is still in development. Should you be interested in staying ‘in the know’, please sign up for our blog and you will receive notification of its future availability.
In the meantime, the wicket I use is available domestically from Chuck Ringering, a talented and highly experienced machinist. These fully adjustable wickets are lightweight and accurate. I love mine! However, some dogs are ‘gun-shy’ to having objects passed above their heads and for these individual animals, it’s going to be a little trickier to get an accurate measurement. Here’s the link to the wicket I use:
Personally, I am excited to be working on an alternative to the ‘usual’ U-shaped wickets that are often misinterpreted by a dog, as you position the wicket over the animal’s head. Even if you bring the wicket from the tail end of the dog over to its withers, it is often misinterpreted as a threat. My design will be wall mounted and portable, similar to the height measuring tool used by pediatricians.
